Anahata Retreats in Mullumbimby
Anahata Retreats is situated in a lush bush setting beside a bend in the river and it offers gorgeous facilities for retreats near beautiful Mullumbimby. In natural surrounds, you can restore and nourish your mind, body and spirit in a small group setting.
A Unique Retreat Experience
In February – March each year Phil and Rhonda’s personal development group is held over 3 days on retreat at Anahata. You can explore pathways to a new sense of self! There will be opportunities to discover what your hidden needs are and in being deeply met you’ll be able to experience the nature of your own healing at your own pace.
In September – October each year a guest facilitator (usually from overseas) will provide a 2 day workshop. These weekends are a wonderful way to network with the overseas Gestalt community and receive up-to-date training.
Both workshops have the same rate – $800 shared room, $950 own room, $750 non residential with a $100 early-bird discount if you pay 2 months in advance.
These workshops are a chance to:
- Restore – your body and spirit in beautiful surroundings and delicious food
- Recover – in being deeply met at where you are so you get a clear sense of what you need to heal and to replenish
- Re-energise – connecting with others, sharing a journey and reaffirming your strengths.
Due to the Coronavirus all residential retreats have been postponed until 2022.
Dr. Janice Gerard is facilitating a workshop on September 19/20 via Zoom titled Relational Gestalt: Immersion In Complexity.
Times are from 8:30 until 2:30 with a break for lunch. The weekend will be a mixture of presentations on relational gestalt, group process work, pair work and trios. You will be able to do your own individual process work with Janice and then get feedback from the group.
If you’d like more information you can email Janice on firstname.lastname@example.org
Only $250 for the two days. Please contact Tine at Gestalt Therapy Brisbane via the link here to book and for payment. Participation gives you 11 PD points with PACFA.
Relational Gestalt: Immersion In Complexity
Relational Gestalt Therapy is about the complexity of human experience. To learn to be intimate with others is a complex process which requires our presence, our focussed attention and awareness of our history, our immediate experience and our surroundings simultaneously. During the course we will review the major underpinnings of classical Gestalt and how Relational Gestalt advances our capacity to integrate and live complex experiences while advancing the theory and practice of Gestalt therapy. We will explore the evocative power of language, of imagery and most importantly, the profundity and complexity of human interaction. We will be given the time and space to ponder, live and understand one of the fundamental tenets of Relational Gestalt, “All experience is co-created.”
